Machine Girl is an American electronic punk project known for its chaotic mix of breakcore, industrial, and punk music. Founded by Matt Stephenson in 2012, the project became a trio in 2024 with the addition of drummer Sean Kelly and guitarist Lucy Caputi.
PsychoWarrior: MG Ultra X is the band's seventh full-length LP, released in October 2025. The album explores themes of technological anxiety and the "psychologically damaged culture" of modern society.
The music features a high-speed, intense sound that blends elements of noise rock, hardcore, rave, and metal. This aggressive electronic sound fits the "psycho warrior" description, referring to a battle fought in the mind against the forces of social media and technology.
