Professor Longhair performed in Chicago at the University of Chicago Folk Festival on February 1, 1976. He died in 1980, so there are no other opportunities to see him live. 
The 1976 performance was recorded by a local radio station, WFMT-FM, and was later released as the album Live in Chicago.
